Research and Development
At the core of Stresau Laboratory is research and development. We strive to answer your questions on material hazard for explosives, flammables, oxidizers and corrosives. We provide fast and reliable expertise for both subcontractor support and end-user support.
Manufacturing
Stresau Laboratory manufactures primers, blasting caps, detonators, leads, gas generators and actuators with exceptional quality and attention to detail. Squibs, impulse cartridges, cutters, microbridge wire welding and fine laser/tig welding are also done right here on-site. Commercial manufacturing applications include life-saving devices, high voltage transmission lines and aircraft actuators. Defense industry applications include medium and large caliber, missile and undersea systems.
UN/DOT Testing
Stresau Laboratory’s Hazardous Materials Testing serves manufacturers, packagers, shippers and analytical laboratories with the functional testing for reliable hazard classification and characterization of dangerous goods. Stresau, testing, including US DOT, IATA and UN protocols, assures safe handling, transportation and storage of materials
Explosive Materials
Stresau Laboratory manufactures primary, secondary, and pyrotechnic explosives - one of the few laboratories in the industry that handles such sensitive components. In addition, Stresau tests energetic components and materials, primers, blasting caps, detonators, leads, gas generators and actuators.
